Last updated: June 21, 2026
DakotaRVParks (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is an RV park directory operated by JohnPaul Williams II (J Williams Designs), located in San Francisco, California, USA. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you use dakotarvparks.com, how we use it, and your rights as a user. By using this website you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us directly:
- Account registration: email address and password (stored as a secure hash via Supabase Auth). We never see or store your plain-text password.
- Waitlist sign-up: name, email address, and role selection (RV traveler or park owner).
- Park owners newsletter: name, email address, and optional park name.
- Listing claim requests: contact details and park information you provide when claiming or updating a park listing.
Information collected automatically:
- Analytics data: We use Google Tag Manager (container ID: GTM-NNH7MLMC) to load Google Analytics 4 (GA4), which collects pages visited, session duration, approximate location, browser type, and referring site. This data is aggregated and not used to personally identify you.
- Cookies: GA4 sets
_gaand_ga_*cookies (2-year duration). Supabase Auth sets session cookies required for your account to function. You can manage cookies through your browser settings.
2. How we use your information

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
3. Park listing data
RV park listings on this site are sourced from publicly available information, including Google Maps and public business directories. We do not represent park owners unless they have claimed their listing. Listing information — including rates, amenities, contact details, and hours — may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate. Always verify directly with the park before booking or traveling. We are not responsible for errors in listing data sourced from third parties.
4. Third-party services and data storage
